This fall season has looked a little different than anyone expected--  Covid-19 safety measures have made it more difficult and even more important to band together as a community. The hospitality industry has been a shining instances of what it means to be a neighbor, and we wanted  to shout out a few examples of their dedication to their communities.

Flik Hospitality based in Rye Brook, NY is working with their local food pantries to make sure their community has access to healthy and delicious food.

 

Care packages for furloughed team members

Green Hearts food in San Francisco, CA is taking care of their furloughed team members with fresh packed care packages of fruits, veggies, and pantry staples.

 

Homemade cupcakes and a warm message for front line workers 

The Peninsula Regent in San Mateo, CA supports their local nurses on the front line with a sweet treat.

The Grand Hyatt in San Francisco, CA donated a portion of their linens to local organization, It Takes a Village, where they were up into masks and distributed to people in need.

 

Hosting Blood Drives in their event space

Lynnwood Convention Center near Seattle, WA donated their space and time to Blood Works NW to host a safe and socially distant blood drive.

 

Delivering hot meals to hospital workers

Emporium Thai in Los Angeles, CA had donated and delivered delicious meals to their frontline workers at UCLA Medical Center.
